If you have a spot where you can "cram-pen" them overnight (provided it's not dangerously hot), that can help. After being squashed together like that for a day or so they all have each other's smell; I know some breeders swear by this method for putting rams together. The other thing is a "ram shield," a special leather "hat" that obstructs a sheep's straight-ahead vision, making it harder for the mean one to beat up on other sheep.
