I noticed in a comment you left on anoth...Hi, Cate<br /><br />I noticed in a comment you left on another blog that you wanted to try some Sheep Shed Studio big bale wool but were leery of it. Just thought I'd let you know that I've been using it for a few weeks now and really like it. I've used it as thrumming in mittens, have spindled it on my Fibership and I'm currently spinning it on my Louet. It's nice and soft, has a decent staple length and is a darkish-medium shade of brownish-grey (is that color vague enough for you? LOL). My one complaint is that it can be a bit neppy, but otherwise it's fine. You really can't beat it for the price. I bought a pound and it's going a long way.
